Peter Mirus Chief Executive Officer
Peter creates solutions to help organizations that are trying to grow. He has provided branding, marketing, and technology solutions to a wide range of clients—from start-ups to the Fortune 1000. He has experience serving technology clients in multiple fields, including enterprise storage solutions, network architecture, enterprise communications and workflow solutions, C4ISR systems engineering, software product development, IT managed services, and fundraising technology services.
From 2000-2010 Peter worked for a niche communications and information management firm named Trinity Consulting, where he eventually became a partner and CEO. Peter’s total client experience has spanned a wide range of industries in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors, including B2B, B2G, and B2C. While serving these clients, his teams have created several billion dollars in new opportunities. He has a BA in English Language and Literature from Christendom College.
Peter is married with two children and lives near Manassas, Virginia. He is an avid chef, pianist, and writer. Peter also serves on the board of directors for Trinity Communications, a non-profit organization devoted to the revitalization of Catholic culture.
Christopher Pelicano Creative Director and Board of Advisors
Chris has more than 30 years of experience in graphic design, illustration, and creative problem solving, including 16 years as a staff artist providing concept design and art direction for many Fortune 500 companies. He has delivered creative solutions to local, national, and international clients across a wide range of industries, including automotive, telecommunications, heavy industry, technology, publishing, education, and health care.
Chris possesses a skill set that impacts every stage of the creative problem-solving and delivery process, from content design and concept renderings through finished artwork and production. He adds a wide variety of design skills, illustrative styles, project management, and business experiences to the STA team. He has an Associates degree in Specialized Technology from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.
Chris resides near Greenville, South Carolina, where he treasures the company of his wife of 28 years and their three youngest of eight children. In addition to his professional work, he pursues painting and reading for personal enrichment, and swinging a kettlebell for penance.
Jon Anderson Research Director and Board of Advisors
Jon is an experienced marketer of products, services, causes, and ideas. He has over ten years marketing research and strategic planning experience with Fortune 100 consumer products companies, ten years management experience in cause marketing for international non-profit organizations, and fifteen years consulting experience with a broad range of corporate clients developing and implementing relationship marketing strategies.
An experienced meeting facilitator and discussion moderator, Jon received qualitative research training at the RIVA institute and has conducted hundreds of in-depth interviews with consumers and business decision makers to develop insights into buying and decision-making processes for corporate clients. He has undergraduate and graduate degrees in psychology from Loyola University of Chicago and an MBA in marketing from the Babcock School of Business at Wake Forest University.
Jon lives in Front Royal, Virginia with his wife, Nancy. They have been blessed with five children and eighteen grandchildren. He is a dedicated golfer.
John Schultz Internet Marketing Director and Board of Advisors
John has managed large-scale Web marketing and technology engagements for over 16 years for a broad range of commercial and non-profit clients. He is currently President at NetStrategies, a dynamic internet marketing agency. Recent engagements include an SEO/Reputation Management initiative for a $5B company, e-marketing strategy and Web redesign for a $20M consumer services business, and ongoing e-marketing consulting to several DC-area firms and non-profits.
Prior to founding NetStrategies, John managed a team of over 30 designers, software engineers, and Web consultants at digitalNATION. He consulted for Saab Cars USA and Merck AG on sales, marketing, and organizational communications using Web technology. He also helped organizations like Financial Executives International and the American Association for the Advancement of Science grow membership and revenue through effective online campaigns. He has a BA from American University and an MBA from the University of Maryland University College.
John is married with one child and lives near Vienna, Virginia. In addition to his professional work, he is an accomplished choir director and tenor soloist.
Christopher Collins, Attorney and Board of Advisors
Chris advises clients in all aspects of intellectual property protection, including licensing, technology development, partnering and litigation. He focuses his IP practice in the field of information technology; however, his clients include high and low technology companies that need advice on how to develop, protect, transfer or maximize their return on intangible assets.
Chris also counsels businesses in the field of government contracts. His extensive experience in the federal procurement area includes: review and assessment of RFPs; contract negotiation and performance; teaming and corporate partnering agreements for prime and sub-contractors; FAR and DFARS compliance; and bid protests. The ownership of intellectual property within the context of government contract rules and regulations is a special interest. He is a graduate of the National Law Center at George Washington University.
Sean is a 20-year veteran of the information technology sector and has founded, developed, and sold two highly successful firms. Most recently, he was co-founder and CEO of NovusCG, the leading provider of vendor-neutral, independent enterprise storage consulting and engineering services and solutions. NovusCG was acquired by IBM in 2007, following which Sean became IBM’s Director – Global Systems Services – Strategy and Portfolio Innovation. He left IBM in 2010 to pursue other entrepreneurial endeavors.
Sean has also been a longtime supporter of Catholic education and is President of the Board of Directors at Renaissance Montessori School in Manassas, Virginia. He is also an alumnus and supporter of Christendom College. He is married with four children and lives near Manassas, Virginia.
